Dr. Jocelyn Knox

Now with 3 adult male children (mostly) on their own, as they are all involved in high level sports in schools, provincial and National representations, as well as one in the Canadian Forces, Jocelyn has been able to give her practice more time. She is thrilled with the thriving of an all powerful female practice with more exciting changes to come. “Each of us have something different to contribute to making sure the Community of Huntsville will be in great hands for their Chiropractic and Massage Therapy needs”. Dr. Allison Christie

Dr. Allison Christie, born and raised in Orillia, made Huntsville her home in 2012. Allison was a provincial-level gymnast throughout her childhood and coached the sport for 7 years, working with children from 1-18 years old. Multiple sports injuries in gymnastics, football and track and field led her to chiropractic care and although she was leery at first, the results were undeniable. Exposure to the art of chiropractic fostered her desire to alleviate pain in all forms. This led Allison to the University of Waterloo where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Co-op placements at Back to Function in Orillia and Able Chiropractic in Huntsville solidified her love for chiropractic and she completed her degree in 2019 at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Being pregnant with her first child through her internship at the college created a passion for treating pregnancy related pain. Low back and pelvic pain plagued her pregnancy and it is her mission to ensure women know there are treatments available during such an incredible time in their lives. She is a proud member of the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association which provides additional training in treating infants/children and is certified in Webster Technique for treating pregnant women. Dr. Christie is also certified in Mental Health First Aid as well as Smart Tools Instrument Assisted Techniques and she practices diversified chiropractic. Dr. Christie is extremely grateful to be part of an all female team and loves serving the community of Huntsville.

Dr. Anissa Boosamra

Dr. Anissa Boosamra originally hails from Ottawa, Ontario, where she also completed her undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Psychology at the University of Ottawa in
1992. She soon found herself drawn to the natural and gentle approach that chiropractic care offers to those looking for solutions to everyday aches and pains as well as to more
severe acute and chronic injuries, and subsequently attended New York Chiropractic College to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which was awarded in 2001. Dr.
Boosamra established her private practice in Huntsville in 2002, where she has enjoyed becoming part of the warm and caring community of Huntsville. She took a personal
hiatus in 2015, but returned to practice at Knox Chiropractic in 2019, and is excited to be part of another great team of dedicated and talented healthcare providers. Dr. Boosamra
considers it her honour to serve the people of Huntsville and strives to provide exceptional chiropractic care with dedication and integrity.

Lorraine Timm

Growing up as a competitive dancer taught Lorraine the value of a healthy body and mind. At a young age she knew that her adult career would involve the health and wellness of the human body.

Lorraine discovered her passion for Massage Therapy at Sir Sandford Fleming College. After graduating in 2000 she moved to Huntsville and began her professional career. The early years were spent working in both the rehabilitation setting and the Spa environment. Along the way Lorraine married her high school sweetheart, had two children and in 2014 she joined the team at Knox Chiropractic. Lorraine feels honoured to be included with this wonderful group of women working to improve the quality of life for the people in our beautiful town.

Kali McCaskill

Born and raised in Toronto, her first office job was for her father; on days off from school she would go to work with him answering phones, delivering mail, making photocopies- whatever she could do to help. She brings the same genuine desire to help to the team at Knox.

Kali's ties to Huntsville run deep; her great, great grandfather was the first minister at All Saints Anglican, her great-grandmother ran a resort on Fairy Lake, and her grandmother was born in town. Spending her summer and winter holidays locally meant it was an easy transition when she moved here in the late 70's to finish high school. Now Kali has 2 adult children, a cat and (too) many houseplants.

Kali's natural ability to connect with people makes her a welcome face at the front desk. Her varied experiences in education, retail and the food and beverage industry have given her the wide range of skills necessary to run a busy office. "Every day can have a new challenge- I really love my job. It's such a gift to work with this incredible group of women."

Taylor Smith

Taylor was born and raised in Huntsville and has always been active in sports. She spent many years participating and competing and after multiple sports injuries that were treated successfully, she chose to pursue a career in health care. Taylor received a diploma with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy’s Toronto campus. Taylor completed her co-op placements at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. She uses Swedish massage as the foundation of her treatments with focus on myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and sports massage with additional training in facilitated stretching and pregnancy massage. Taylor brings a strong knowledge of comprehensive assessment, manual skills and remedial exercise and treats with the goal of returning her clients back to sport or activities of daily living. She is excited to provide massage therapy to the remarkable community she calls home and she is grateful to be part of such a positive work environment. She admires what each practitioner brings to the clinic and plans to continue to expand her knowledge.
