Why Chiropractic?
One of the largest primary care professions in Ontario, chiropractic is an evidence-based, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system.

Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.

Chiropractic can help with
Low Back Pain
Low back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, with 8 in 10 people reporting the problem at some point in their lives. Chiropractic care is part of the gold standard of care for acute and chronic low back pain.
Neck Pain
Clinical evidence demonstrates that adjustments, mobilizations and clinical massage are the most effective treatments for neck associated disorders- they have actually been deemed more effective than medication for neck pain in the short and long term.
Head Aches
Chiropractic care has been proven effective in treating migraines and cervicogenic headaches. Your chiropractor can determine what type of headache you have and get you the treatment you need.
Whiplash
Whiplash can result in tender muscles and limited neck movement. A chiropractor is trained to assess the severity of the injury and provide treatment as well as advice to aid in your recovery.
Arthritis
Arthritis affects 1 in 5 Canadians. With symptoms like inflammation and stiffness, this condition can limit your mobility, affecting day to day life. Manual therapy can help improve range of motion in the joints, reduce inflammation and help to manage pain.
Massage Therapy

Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.

Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of needles (such as sterilized single use, thin filiform needles) to stimulate specific points of the body that reach meridians. These stimulation points are called acupuncture points or acupoints. Needles are discarded after being used once and never shared between patients.
Traditional Chinese medicine holds that there are 361 commonly used acupuncture points on 14 meridians on the human body. Typically, it takes 15 to 30 minutes of manipulating the needles in these acupuncture points and 30 to 60 minutes of retaining the needles. By doing so, it regulates the flow of qi throughout the body and restore health to the mind and body, thus balancing the yin and yang.
The insertions of needles are manipulated either by the hand or by electrical stimulation, called electroacupuncture.
